Effectiveness of Intal (cromolyn sodium) used in a nebulizer? I cannot get Intal inhalers and most of the international on line pharmacies have discontinued Intal inhalers. I did find that my pharmacy carries Intal (Cromolyn sodium) solution for nebulizers and they are covered by my health plan. I do not know how effective this delivery system is, but I am willing to find out. Does anyone else know about the effectiveness of this delivery system? Anyone take cromolyn or any other drug for exercise induced asthma? I have been reading some info on cromolyn and it says it helps prevent exercise induced asthma,has anyone tried this drug?I have allergy and exercise induced asthma I currently use symbicot,a rescue inhaler and singulair plus zyrtec.I exercise alot but really not as hard as I wish I could I know I could push myself alot more if it wasnt for this darn asthma! Yes you can. Use the eyedrops as prescribed so that the eyes have a rest period inbetween applications and there have a chance to heal. Constant saturation with medication will not be good for them, particularly if you are using steroid eyedrops.
If you use too much stuff on your eyes they may become sore and painful it's usually best to ask your local doctor what may be best for your eyes i use daily eyedrops called optrex and it usually says not to apply more than 2 or 3 drops to your eyes daily

It has been 3 days now and my cat has still yet to go. he barely eats and has lost some weight. i'm afraid he is constipated again? do not want to bring him back to the vet .. too traumatizing and cost $$$. any suggestions to help my cat go?

His rectum may be somewhat sore so apply a small amount of Vaseline or A&D ointment . He may be holding back for this reason. Why not stay with just the canned food, The dry may just be too much bulk causing hard or no bowel movements. Rubbing his stomach in a circular downward motion may also help the stool pass. He should have a BM by tomorrow, If not call the vet and ask about outer laxatives or stool softeners that you may be able to get over the counter. Also ask about fish oil capsules to pour over the food or other oils o grease up the intestines a little. Good luck. it really sound like his kidneys have shut down. What are the side effects of Duratuss AC12 and Omnicef? I went to a walk-in clinic yesterday cause I was feeling sick.. (Turned out to be bronchitus(sp) And he perscribed Duratuss AC12 and Omnicef. What are the side effects?Cause after taking the meds, my stomach has been feeling really weird.. Like, bad weird. It feels like there's air in my stomach. (I didn't eat fast or eat different foods..so it's not that)I called and asked the doc who was in today, and she told me "its probably from the antibiotics" but acted like it was nothing.It hurts, and I'm wondering if it's cause of the meds? And what are the other side effects? I'm surprised they gave them to you considering you are that close to 36 weeks and most doctors allow the baby to come at 36 weeks. That depends on you. If you remain on bed and pelvic rest, stay well hydrated, and try to remain relaxed and calm, you shouldn't need to have any other intervention for preterm labor. True preterm labor is difficult to stop, so most likely if they were able to stop it with just two injections of brethine, you should be ok. The shot isnt' actually in your body an incredibly long time.when it is given, it relaxes the uterus. Sometimes, that is all that is needed to stop contractions from turning into full blown preterm labor. If you're cervix isn't changing (which I doubt it is if they let you go home), then you're not in preterm labor.

I'd think since you're at risk for preterm labor, it's not safe though. the person to ask is your doctor. if you're on restricted activity (like no work) odds are good sex isn't a great idea either; and if you're already having trouble with your cervix sex is (again) not the best idea if you want your baby to be full-term. which is best for the baby and also for you - a bigger stronger baby is more likely to sleep through nights sooner and need less frequent feedings! not a guarantee, but better chance of it, and every little bit helps!! Yes there is a possibility that the brethine will not work. If that happens you will go back to the doctor and they will try a different medicine. In my case I did start having contractions again and they had to give me injections to stop them. Good luck hun.

Look on your prescription, or call the office and ask.Most of the time what I see in the hospital as the marker is 6 contractions in ONE hour. But always ask if you aren't sure. I would think you need further clarification from the doctor. I believe those pills stop labor, so if you're having contractions, my guess is to take one! OTC Orudis was discontinued about 6 months ago. Your best bet is to ask your Dr for a ketoprofen prescription, which is the same ingredient as Orudis only at a much higher dosage, along with a higher side effects profile. Orudis was 12.5 mg of ketoprofen.

Vet Balance. we used to give our black lab an aspirin wrapped in a piece of cheese. it helped him a lot with his back and legs. You are allowed to give your dog buffered asprin, just consult a vet on dosage. Also Glucosamine and Condrotin supplaments help, as well as slimming her down. Labs tend to be overweight and it works against them. You should be able to feel the ribs without appling pressure, feel the hip bones, have a nice tucked tummy, and feel the vertebrae down the back. This will greatly help with dysplasia. Also consider a strength/conditioning program of low impact exercise. This will help strengthen the muscles around the hips and help keep things in place. Depending on where you live there are places that offer underwater treadmills, chiropractic service, and acupuncture to help releave pain. Do not know about over the counter, but get her started on a daily maintenance of glucosomen - I know that is spelled incorrectly, but hopefully you know what I mean.
